Suzuki Liana was launched with high hopes by Pak Suzuki motors Pakistan but unfortunately it couldn’t live up to the expectations. The car doesn’t have any USPs (Unique selling proposition). There are lots of reasons why this car failed to catch the attraction of the buyers. Suzuki is traditionally famous in Pakistan due to its small and compact cars. This image also played its part. This image could have been washed out if Liana had performed. Liana is not a performer if we compare it with other 1300 cc cars in the market. It has a nondurable body which cannot sustain the challenges of rough Pakistani roads. It doesn’t accelerate as a 1300 cc should. The inner cabin is also not as spacious as in Toyota Corolla and others in the category. According to many, the body design is also not that attractive. Those who have Suzuki Liana find it difficult to get rid of it as it doesn’t have attractive resale offers in the market. The braking system is quite ordinary and its road drip is also not that great due to its higher body shape. On the positive end it comes with the original CNG fitting by the company and priced a little less than Honda City and Toyota Corolla. Suzuki Liana is available in three different categories such as 1.3 LXi, 1.3 RXi and 1.6 Eminent. It is a beautiful car available in 7 different colors with power windows, power steering and central door locking system. The air conditioner is set in all the models. The disc braking system is installed at the front while rear brake system is the old fashioned drum brakes. Liana has 5-gear transmission with a 1300 cc engine in LXi and RXi while Eminent has a 1600 cc engine. There is a seating capacity of 5 people.
